We arrived in Kiev on Monday, after a delay of 3 hours in New York. We are exhausted! We had our SDA appointment this morning and all went well. They showed us a picture of Artem and Sasha of when they first arrived at the orphanage and it made Arri tear up a bit. The lady thought that was nice. While our facilitator Vladimir is trying to get the proper documents, we went site seeing and saw a bunch of monks that are mummified. Many people sojourn there and kiss the glass caskets.
Natalie our translator is very helpful and nice and the Milnes and Hatch's are easy-going and great to travel with. Kiev is beautiful and so far we're really enjoying it. More to come...
